2017 intake for the gamekeeper's course has been a great success this year. The College of Agriculture Food & Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) in partnership with the Irish Grouse Conservation Trust (IGCT) and supported by the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) launched the course 4 years ago aimed at those interested in game keeping and country sports. The course formally titled “Principles of Live Quarry Shooting” will lead to a City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate and is a stepping stone for those who wish to pursue a career in this area.
